PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door device capable of preventing an inspection cover from being removed or being damaged by an impact, which has a favorable maintenance property. SOLUTION: The folding door device comprises a folding door 10, an upper frame 43 provided at the upper side of the folding door 10, a guide mechanism 20 provided at the upper side of the upper frame 43 and guiding the opening/closing operation of the folding door 10, an inspection cover 51 for covering the guide mechanism 20 from a side of a door thickness direction, and a door stop member 60 for receiving the folding door 10 from the side of door thickness direction when fully closing. The upper frame 43 comprises a body 43a fixed in an immobile part and a support piece 43b fixed in the body 43a for supporting the guide mechanism 20 while the door stop member 60 is anchored to the support piece 43b of the upper frame 43, and the inspection cover 51 is detachably anchored to the body 43a.
