PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a fuel injection nozzle, by which process time can be remarkably shortened and the yield of a product is improved. SOLUTION: A bar-shaped base stock 1 is prepared by cutting a billet and a recessed part 2 is formed on the bar-shaped base stock 1 by cold forging (forward extrusion or backward extrusion). Next, the undercut part 3 is formed in the recessed part 2, a bag hole 4 having the inside diameter of 2-4 mm on the recessed part 2 by cold swaging and the product (fuel injecting nozzle) is obtained by further cutting work of the outer peripheral surface.
