Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle traffic system, inexpensive batteries 10 used presently in a battery-type vehicle installed. The vehicle itself is widely supplied at low price. Rails 1 for flowing current are laid on a road, Only the rails present in the position where the vehicle passes are applied with current. This current application to the rails is controlled by an automatic switching device 4 wherein a detector for detecting the vehicle from an electric wire provided on one side of the road and a switch are combined with each other. Current collectors are lowered from the vehicle so that electricity is taken in the vehicle by contacting them with the rails. Thereby, the vehicle advances by driving the motor while charging the battery. The vehicle is always advanced so long as the rails continue and thereby CO2 is reduced.
