PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch an IP telephone to an alternative telephone while maintaining a telephone call when a network failure occurs. SOLUTION: When a network failure occurs and a call gets cut off during the call between a house phone 6a and the IP telephone 6b, a LAN control device 2 detects the failure and informs an IP-PBX1 of the number of the IP telephone 6b whose communication is lost. The IP-PBX1 connects the house phone 6a with an external sound source device 5 and calls for a subscriber's phone 6c which is registered in a phone switching management memory 4 on the basis of the informed number of the IP telephone 6b. When the subscriber's phone 6c answers, the destination of the house phone 6a is switched from the external sound source device 5 to the subscriber's phone 6c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
