PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint cover apparatus easy to manufacture and reducible in manufacturing cost with a simple structure and a small number of parts regarding the joint cover apparatus disposed on the other building side out of one building and the other building adjoining through a joint and located directly under a shielding member extended from the one building to the other building side to cover the joint. SOLUTION: The joint cover apparatus is composed of: a cover body 8 comprising a plurality of divided cover plates 34a, 34b with the ends connected to each other in a vertically turnable manner; and a plurality of turning support members 7 supporting the cover body 8 from the lower face and horizontally turning with the change of a joint width to change the cover body 8 into a horizontal supported state and a downward hanging retreat state.
