<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate shaft run-out when singly transporting a power transmitting device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power transmitting device 1 includes a hollow connection hollow shaft 39 rotatably supported in a distribution case 5 by at least one pair of ball bearings 109, 111 disposed separately in an axial direction, and an axle shaft intermediate shaft 3 disposed coaxially in an axis part of the connection hollow shaft 39, having a support shaft part 131 protruding from a seal support part 121 of the connection hollow shaft 39, and rotatably supported by a case cover 83 of the distribution case 5 via a ball bearing 133. It is characterized by that a protrusion 139a is continuously formed in an orbital state on an inner circumference face of the connection hollow shaft 39, and a radial close-contacting part 139 separated in the axial direction with respect to the ball bearing 133 to regulate the shaft run-out of the axle shaft intermediate shaft 3 is provided between the connection hollow shaft 39 and the axle shaft intermediate shaft 3.
