<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to inspect more precisely insertion state of a terminal while suppressing deformation of a connector and the terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The terminal insertion inspection device is provided with a holder part 22 capable of holding a connector housing for lamination, a base holder part 30 to support the holder part 22 movably between a housing set position and an inspection pass position, a detection part 40 which is arranged at an advance position with the terminal in a complete insertion state and is arranged at a retreat position retreated from the advance position with the terminal in an incomplete insertion state, a coil spring 49 which energizes the detection part 40 toward the advance position, and a lock switching part 50 which locks the holder part 22 in the state the detection part 40 moves to the retreat position side of the advance position and can switch to a lock-releasing state in the state the detection part 40 moves to the advance position.
