The invention relates to a curb bit that is preferably used for dressage and comprises two vertical lateral elements (3) and a mouthpiece (1) that is mounted substantially in a horizontal direction between the lateral elements. Each lateral element has a top part and a bottom part in relation to the mouthpiece. Rings (5, 7) are mounted at the upper and lower end of the lateral part, and a curb chain hook (9), the engaging part (13) of which faces backwards, is stationarily mounted on the upper ring (5). |
