<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking body for a road, that can continue to maintain a display function without being easily broken or detached even with the contact of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A marking column for a road in use includes a flexible pole with a display part provided at a side face. A plurality of marking columns for the road provided with mutually different display parts are juxtaposed, and the respective display parts are combined to make one display. Since the flexible pole is provided with the display part, even if the vehicle contacts the pole, the pole is restored after being bent to continue to maintain the display function.
