<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus for relaying a radio signal, with low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication apparatus 110 relays radio communication between a radio communication apparatus 100 and a radio communication apparatus 120. The radio communication apparatus 110 includes: a reception processing section 160 for receiving a paging notification transmitted from the radio communication apparatus 100 to the radio communication apparatus 120; a transmission processing section 170 for transmitting a data signal to the radio communication apparatus 120; a management table 147 for storing whether the radio communication apparatus 120 is in an active state during which radio communication is performed at all the time, or in an idle state during which radio communication is performed intermittently; and a control section 140 for suspending operation of the transmission processing section 170 for a predetermined period during which the radio communication apparatus 120 is in the idle state and the radio communication apparatus 100 does not transmit the data signal to the radio communication apparatus 120 in the idle state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
