<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a companion pet diet meeting ordinary nutritional requirements for an aged pet and inhibiting a deterioration in mental capacity of the aged companion pet. <P>SOLUTION: The diet for the aged companion pet meets ordinary nutritional requirements for the aged pet and contains an antioxidant selected from among vitamin E, vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid, l-carnitine and their arbitrary mixtures in an amount sufficient for inhibiting a deterioration in the mental capacity of the aged companion pet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
