<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior structure having simple construction for improving the appearance of a vehicle interior by avoiding easy viewing of a joint part of an anchor to a vehicle interior lower panel from the vehicle interior. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vehicle interior structure includes the vehicle interior lower panel 42 forming the lower part of the vehicle interior 3, the anchor 31 having a protruded part 44 protruded from the outside edge of the vehicle interior lower panel 42 into the vehicle interior 3 and connected with one end of a seat belt 34, a trim 47 covering the outside edge of the vehicle interior lower panel 42 and having an opening 46 for the protruded part 44 of the anchor 31 to pass therethrough, and a carpet 51 placed almost all over the upper face of the vehicle interior lower panel 42. One part 51a of the carpet 51 is provided between the outside edge of the vehicle interior lower panel 42 and the trim 47, and a through-port 52 is formed in one part 51a of the carpet 51 for the protruded part 44 of the anchor 31 to pass therethrough.
