<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assisting device capable of performing parking to a target parking position even if deviation is large or suitably drawing a movement track to the target parking position when a vehicle is stopped at a position deviated from a target initial stopping position. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the vehicle 7 is stopped at a position A' passing through the target initial stopping position A, based on a deviation amount of the position A' and the target initial stopping position A, a track L<SB>3</SB>to linearly retreat from the position A' to the target initial stopping position A is calculated, and it is added before a first movement track L<SB>1</SB>constituting a reference parking sequence L.
