<p>An input/output unit includes a front connector fitted to a back unit connector provided in a back unit of a control device and mediates signal transfer between the control device and a field device. The input/output unit includes an input/output subunit comprising an input/output card in which the front connector is mounted on the front edge of a board, a back connector fitted to a connector of the field device is mounted on the rear edge of the board, and an electronic circuit for mediating signal transfer is fabricated on the card and a card holder having a guide shaft inserted into a guide hole of the back unit on the front and holding the input/output card and a case which is formed in a box shape whose rear is open, has a slot into which the input/output subunit is inserted with a gap between itself and the inner surface of the slot, an elongated hole which is made in the front plate and into which the back unit connector is inserted from outside with a gap between itself and the inner surface of the elongated hole, and a shaft hole which is made also in the front plate and into which the guide shaft is inserted from inside with a gap between itself and the inner surface, and which can be attached to the back unit with the input/output subunit held in the slot.</p> |
