PURPOSE: A compound for repairing the water leakage of a water pipe is provided to improve the construction ability of the compound with high flexibility and to prevent the change of a matter property including shrinkage. CONSTITUTION: A compound for repairing the water leakage of a water pipe contains 14~16wt% of butadiene rubber, 45~48.5wt% of filler, 13~16wt% of reinforcing material, 6~9wt% of stearic acid, 2~4wt% of dioctyl phthalate, 16~20wt% of copper powder, and 0.5~2wt % of polytetrafluoroethylene. The filler is formed with talc. The reinforcing material is formed with evans-clay. The compound(600) is inserted into a gasket(300) and installed on the connection part of the water pipe to seal the water leaking portion without blocking the supply of tap water.
