<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a plurality of images with slides so as to give a lifelike feeling in taking a picture. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 includes a CPU 15, a monitor 17, and an image memory 18. When practicing a function of slide show, the CPU 15 reads out image data held in the image memory 18 in the order of shooting time. The CPU 15 calculates a shooting time interval on the basis of time information added to the read-out image data. The CPU 15 decides a display time corresponding to the image data in proportion to the calculated shooting time interval.
