<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly fix an actuator assembly to a lock assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The door lock unit for vehicles includes the lock assembly 1, which includes a synthetic resin made body 3, a metallic outer plate 4 fixed to one side face of the body 3 and further fixed to a door panel D, a metallic inner plate 5 fixed on the other side face of the body 3 opposite to the one side face and a driven lever 11 supported by the inner plate 5, and the actuator assembly 2 which includes a housing 19 containing a motor 20 and a lock lever 18 pivoted on the housing 19, connected with the driven lever 11 so as to be operable in a lock position and an unlock position according to turning of the motor 20. The housing 19 is fixed to the outer plate 4 together with the inner plate 5 and the body 3 by a screw 15 penetrating through the housing 19, the inner plate 5 and the body 3 in order and threaded with in a female screw hole 4b formed in the outer plate 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
