ON-BOARD DISPLAY SYSTEM AND DISPLAY METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board display system and display method for single-eye vision for recognizing a display such as a virtual preceding vehicle image and the like at an arbitral depth position with high position accuracy. SOLUTION: The on-board display system includes a forward information obtaining part obtaining forward information that is information regarding forward side of a vehicle traveling course, a position detection part detecting a position of one eye of an observer riding a vehicle, and a video projecting part generating a first virtual image in a size corresponding to at least either of the width or height of the vehicle at a corresponding position in forward scenery of the traveling course based on the forward information obtained by the forward information obtaining part and projecting the luminous flux including the video having the generated first virtual image toward the one eye of the observer based on the detected position of the one eye.
