PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device that achieves exhaust without hindering a reduction in the size of the device and without discharging an emitted liquid more than needed. SOLUTION: The exhaust device includes: a container for storing a gas together with an emitted liquid; a liquid discharge channel 21 communicating with the container in the upper part of the container; a float chamber 25 communicating with the fluid discharge channel 21 in the bottom of it and having an exhaust port 23 in its upper face for exhausting a gas introduced from the container through the liquid discharge channel 21; and a float 27 smaller in specific gravity than the liquid and accommodated in the float chamber 25 so as to move to the position where the exhaust port 23 is closed as the liquid surface rises as a result of the introduction of the liquid into the float chamber 25. A groove 41 is formed in a side face of the float chamber 25, a groove 42 communicating with the groove 41 is formed in the bottom of the float chamber 25, and a groove 43 communicating with the groove 42 is formed in the liquid discharge channel 21.
