PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door for an automobile equipped with an impact-responding pad in which a rise of the load is rapid and the load characteristic is stable in collision. SOLUTION: The impact-responding pad 20 is arranged in an inside of the door. The impact-responding pad 20 includes a base member 30, an outer rib group 31 extended in a width direction of a vehicle body from the base member 30 to the outer side of the vehicle body, and an inner rib group 32 extended in the width direction of the vehicle body from the base member 30 to the inner side of the vehicle body. The outer rib group 31 includes a plurality of resin ribs 41 along the vertical direction, and a plurality of resin ribs 42 perpendicular to the resin ribs 41. The resin ribs 41 and 42 have step parts 45, 46 and 47 having widths that become smaller stepwise. The inner rib group 32 includes a plurality of resin ribs 61 along the vertical direction, and a plurality of resin ribs 62 perpendicular to the resin ribs 61.
