PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nano-fluorescent material, a nano-fluorescent material produced by the method and a display element including the nano-fluorescent material. SOLUTION: The method for producing a nano-fluorescent material including the steps of: forming metal oxide nanoparticles by low temperature-synthesis; forming a mixture by mixing the metal oxide nanoparticles with inorganic salts; and heat treating the mixture, the nano-fluorescent material produced by the method, and the display element including the nano-fluorescent material are provided.
