<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the blown-out of a fuse connected in series to a battery. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When it is detected that an overcurrent flows in a DC/DC converter 20, a relay contact 206c is opened, power supply to drive circuits 79u, 79v, 79w is interrupted, and switching operations of upper and lower arms switching elements 81, 82 are reliably stopped to prevent the continuation of the overcurrent flowing through the DC/DC converter 20.
