PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of prevention of misfire caused by swirling flow and improvement in flame propagation speed by the swirling flow, when promoting combustion by the swirling flow. SOLUTION: An ignition plug 21 and a plug hole 2a are provided so that an end of the ignition plug 21 does not protrude into a combustion chamber 5 from the plug hole 2a, and an opening of the plug hole 2a on the combustion chamber 5 side is positioned shifted from the central axis of a cylinder.
