PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound generating device capable of unfailingly applying a predetermined preload to a vibration element, and unfailingly and efficiently transmitting the vibration of the vibrating element to a driven member when the vibration element is attached to a side surface of the driven member to transmit the vibration of the vibrating element to the driven member. SOLUTION: Convex parts 11, 14, 16 and 18 are formed as attaching parts on the one side surface of the driven member 10. A sliding member 50 is inserted into the convex part 14, one end of the vibrating element 30 on which a vibration transmission urging member 40 is formed is inserted into a concave part 12 of the convex part 11, and the other end of the vibrating element 30 is inserted into a concave part 52 of the sliding member 50. In addition, a wedge-shaped cam 60 is inserted between the sliding member 50 and the convex part 18, and a screw 103 is fastened into a screw hole 17 of the convex part 16.
