PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope guide for a rope-tractive transporting installation having a rail track recess-shaped in a vertical section for enabling the safe passage of a vehicle by guiding a rope without causing flotation. SOLUTION: The rope-tractive transporting installation includes a pressure rope guide roller arranged in the rail track for abutting on the upper side of the rope, a supporting frame for journaling the pressure rope guide roller, an intermediate frame for supporting the supporting frame so as to be turnable in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the rail track, and a base frame for supporting the intermediate frame movably up and down.
