PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by reducing the number of actuators required for gear shift in a gear type transmission. SOLUTION: The gear shifter of gear type transmission, which consists of a servomotor 18A capable of controlling a rotating angle, a rotating member 18C which is rotably driven by the servomotor and in which a plurality of circumferential groove 18B for converting rotational motion into radially linear motion is formed in the periphery thereof, and a plurality of rod member 18F in which one end part is movably interfit to the circumferential groove 18B, and the other end part is fixed to a fork shaft 18E formed integrally with each shift fork 18D performing gear shift motion, wherein a path of the circumferential groove 18B of the rotating member 18C is set so that each shift fork 18D may selectively move to a location corresponding to any gear shift stage (first to sixth and Rev) through the rod member 18F in connection with a rotating angle variation of the rotating member 18C.
