PURPOSE: A rubber composition for tire tread is provided to improve brake performance on a frozen rod, to obtain excellent brake performance on a dry or wet rod, and to enable a user to use the rubber composition in four seasons due to low rotary resistance. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for tire tread includes 5-15 parts by weight of a styrene-butadiene rubber gel having a hydroxyl group of 30-40 mg KOH/g gel based on 100,0 parts by weight of a crude rubber. The crude rubber includes 10-30 parts by weight of a natural rubber, 30-40 parts by weight of the styrene-butadiene rubber, and 30-40 parts by weight of a neodymium butadiene rubber. The glass transition temperature of the styrene-butadiene rubber gel is (-10)-(-20) °C.
