PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for playing guide-information for a vehicle are provided to be cost-effectively manufactured using a current speaker without an additional speaker for the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: Voice signal from a multimedia system(300) for a vehicle is inputted in a directional information recognizing unit(100). Based on the voice signal, the directional information recognizing unit recognizes directional information. The voice information includes road-guidance information. An amplifier(200) processes the voice signal. Through speakers(400, 500, 600, 700), the amplifier outputs the road-guidance information.
