PURPOSE: An acid cleaning method of a low chrome ferritic stainless steel is provided to make the various thickness and color of the oxidation scale. CONSTITUTION: An acid cleaning method of a low chrome ferritic stainless steel comprises next steps. A steel sheet is pickled in a sulfuric acid electrolytic cell. The applied current of the sulfuric acid electrolytic cell to the maximum anode is 6.5A / dm^2 or greater. The concentration of the sulfuric acid electrolytic cell is 20~200g/l. The temperature of the sulfuric acid electrolytic cell is 20~70°C. The low chrome ferritic stainless steel is composed of Cr 10.5~11.5 weight% and Si 0.5 weight%. The acid cleaning method operates a neutral salt electrolytic pickling process, a sulfuric acid electrolytic pickling process, a nitric acid electrolytic pickling process.
