<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector accommodation device and accommodation method that facilitate housing and taking-out of optical connectors while housing a number of optical connectors efficiently spacewise. <P>SOLUTION: The optical connector accommodation device 4 includes: a mounting wall part 8 that is freely attachably/detachably mounted on the rear door 5 of an optical termination stand 1; an accommodation device body 10 integrated with the mounting wall part 8 and provided with a housing part 9 for housing the optical connectors; a guide part 11 for guiding a reserve optical cord with optical connectors into the housing part 9; a release part 13 formed to release on the opposite side from the mounting wall part 8 in the accommodation device body 10; and a cover part 14 for covering the release part 13 in a manner freely opening and closing it. When the optical connectors are housed in the optical connector accommodation device 4, the cover part 14 is opened to release the release part 13, with the optical connectors housed in the housing part 9 along the guide part 11 from the release part 13 and, thereafter, the reserve optical cord is fixed to the guide part 13 with a fixing part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
