PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device achieving lower driving voltage, higher luminance, higher luminous efficiency, and a longer life. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent device material is expressed by general formula [1]. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>24</SP>each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon, substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aromatic hydrocarbon, substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aliphatic heterocyclic, substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aromatic heterocyclic, cyano, substituted or unsubstituted alkoxyl, substituted or unsubstituted alyloxy, substituted or unsubstituted alkylthio, substituted or unsubstituted alylthio, substituted amino, substituted or unsubstituted acyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkylcarbonyl, substituted or unsubstituted alylcarbonyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkylsulfonyl, or substituted or unsubstituted alylsulfonyl.
