PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize exchange system which enables the stable supply of reference information in the selection of prizes available for exchange desired by users. SOLUTION: In a card unit 20 or a kiosk terminal 30 of a store which carries out the selection of recommended prizes by the store and the setting of a recommendation index by the store and receives them from a prize managing unit, the recommendation index by the store is displayed on a top screen (D20a) and when the recommendation index by the store is selected, a prize selection screen ready for receiving the selection of the prizes recommended by the store (D21a) is displayed. On the other hand, in the card unit or the kiosk terminal of a store which does not carry out the selection of the recommended prizes by the store nor the setting of the recommendation index by the store and so receives none of them from the prize managing unit, a recommendation index by a management mechanism is displayed on a top screen (D20b') and when the recommendation index by the management mechanism is selected, a prize selection screen ready for receiving the selection of the recommended prizes by the management mechanism is displayed (D21b).
