Ž<P>SOLUTION: Intake pressure upstream of the throttle valve arranged in the intake passage of an internal combustion engine is estimated. The opening area learning additional value of the throttle valve is acquired based on a difference between the estimated upstream intake pressure and atmospheric pressure.
