PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which is easy to manufacture and reduces read errors due to segment gaps of display electrodes on electronic paper. SOLUTION: The display 10 has a substrate 11, the display electrodes 12 and wiring electrodes 13 formed and electrically connected to one another on one surface 11a of the substrate 11, the electrophoresis electronic paper 14 disposed covering those two electrodes, and a cover 15 covering the other side 14b of the electronic paper 14 and including a concealing layer 17 partially concealing the electronic paper 14. The concealing layer 17 of the cover 15 exposes the areas overlapping the display electrodes 12 of the electronic paper 14, and has light transmissive areas 17a forming the display pattern of the electronic paper 14.
