PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film which is used in sheet molding (or adhesive layer molding) required for planarity, for example, of forming a green sheet for a ceramic capacitor in particular and prevents the occurrence of the roughness and projections of a mold release layer forming surface, surface roughness and surface projections generated with the passage of time or when heated, planarity spoiling by foreign substance adhesion by electrification or the omission and cutting of the mold release layer, and defects such as the breakage of a molding film and pinhole-shaped repelling in the next process. SOLUTION: The release film keeps high planarity even when heated and after the passage of time and at the same time has antistatic properties and high adhesive properties using a film having high planarity as a substrate and forming a silicon oxide membrane as the intermediate layer.
