<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe driving device of a vehicle, securing safety in a place requiring attention on driving such as a parking area. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A navigation control section 8 compares a present position with location information of a parking area, determines that the vehicle is in a slow speed recommendation area when the present position is in the parking area, and turns on a safety preference mode. A driving control section 18, when the safety preference mode is on, controls an electronic throttle 12 so that a throttle opening degree is proportional to a pressing amount of an accelerator pedal 10 and controls an electronically-controlled fuel injection device 13 so that an air-fuel ratio becomes the most suitable according to the throttle opening degree and engine rotation speed. When the safety preference mode is turned on, the driving control section 18 controls the electronic throttle 12 within a range wherein an upper limit of the throttle opening degree is smaller than normal so that the throttle opening degree is proportional to the pressing amount of the accelerator pedal 10 until the pressing amount of the accelerator pedal 10 reaches a certain value and the throttle opening degree is constant when the pressing amount exceeds the certain value, and controls the electronically-controlled fuel injection device 13 so that the an air-fuel ratio becomes the most suitable according to the throttle opening degree and engine rotation speed.
