<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation device for observing the inner surface of a pipe for simply and rapidly measuring the inner surface of a testpiece on the measuring spot and having a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The observation device for observing the inner surface of the pipe for observing the inner surface of the testpiece 11 includes: a fiberscope 12 having a CCD camera 13 being an imaging part, which observes the inside of the testpiece 11, at its leading end; and a pipe inner surface holding device body 21A enabling the insertion/extraction of the fiberscope 12 and having a freely bendable hollow pipe 21a. A spring band 22, which is a curved protruded body curved toward the outer peripheral side of the fiberscope 12 centering around the fiberscope to protrude, is provided to the periphery of the pipe inner surface holding device body 21A.
