Even when a radio terminal cannot receive content data from a base station to which the radio terminal belongs, the radio terminal can receive the content data from other base station. A radio communication system includes a radio terminal, a belonging radio base station to which the radio terminal belongs, and a non-belonging radio base station to which the radio terminal does not belong. The belonging radio base station receives content-associated information relating to the content data to be broadcast or multicast by the non-belonging radio base station from the non-belonging radio base station and transmits the received content-associated information to the radio terminal.
