METHOD FOR ADJUSTING PAGE OPEN TIME IN MEMORY DEVICE AND MEMORY SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for adjusting a page open time in a memory device and a memory system using the same are provided to control a page open holding time based on a system memory usage pattern and application property. CONSTITUTION: A page open holding time of a page receiving a request for a memory access is determined. The page open holding time is determined based on system information and IP(Intellectual Property) request. The closure of an opened page is delayed. The system information comprises at least more than one of software program information, an operation frequency, and operating temperature.
