PURPOSE: A dual polarization plane radiating element and an array antenna including the same are provided to discharge an electrostatic charge to an external metal grid by connecting the side of the metal patch with the side of the external metal grid. CONSTITUTION: A dual polarization plane radiating element includes an external metal grid(38), at least one metal patch(15), and a cavity(41). The metal patch is concentric with the external metal grid. The cavity separates the external metal grid from the metal patch. The external metal grid and the metal patch have a polygonal shape defined by at least four sides. The side of the metal patch is electrically connected to the side of the external metal grid by a metal wire(46).
