PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily recognize stored image data when the image data recorded in a medium of a digital camera are transmitted to a data storage device and stored therein. SOLUTION: A medium 12 stores image data S photographed by using a digital camera 1. When a free capacity of the medium 12 is lost, the digital camera transmits the image data S via a mobile phone 3 to a photo shop 2 to allow a server 22 to store the image data S. After the transmission, the archive attribute of the image data S of the medium 12 is cleared, the digital camera generates reduced capacity image data from the image data S whose archive attribute is cleared and records the reduced capacity image data to the medium 12 in place of the image data S. |
