<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel for containing a fuel reformer, which satisfactorily feeds fuel to the fuel reformer, can discharge gases such as hydrogen reformed by the fuel reformer stably to the outside thereof, and has little power loss, and to provide a fuel reforming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The vessel 11 for containing the fuel reformer is equipped with a base body 1 having a recessed part for containing the the fuel reformer 9 for generating a reformed gas containing hydrogen from the fuel at its inside, a cap body 4 which is installed at the upper surface of the base body 1, and a tubular member 5 whose central part 5c is parallel to the bottom face of the recessed part in a space between a cap body 4 and the bottom face of the recessed part, whose both end parts each penetrates the base body 1 or the cap body 4, and to whose one end part the fuel is fed, and from whose other end part the reformed gas is discharged. In the tubular member 5, the upper side of the central part 5c is cut and removed in parallel to the axis direction, and the central part 5c constitutes a portion of the fuel reformer 9. The fuel reformer 9 is constituted by connecting the remaining part of the fuel reformer 9 on the downside of the central part 5c by an anodic jointing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
