PURPOSE: A trash can capable of compression is provided to compress waste which is inside the can by pushing the top of the can. CONSTITUTION: A trash can capable of compression comprises an upper side part(3), a lower side part(4) and an elastic member(2). The top comprises the hollow shape in which the center portion empties. The lower part has the form of the cask in which the low grade surface is obstructed. The elastic member is connected between the end part of the lower part and top. The elastic member is restored to the original state after compressing the trash can.
