Disclosed is a calcium secondary phosphate anhydride particle which simultaneously satisfies conflicting requirements for tablet preparation, which are improvement of tabletability and improvement of handling properties, namely good fluidity and low dimensions. Also disclosed is a method for producing such a calcium secondary phosphate anhydride particle. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a calcium secondary phosphate anhydride wherein an aqueous slurry of a phosphoric acid compound and a calcium compound is heated at 50-100°C. In this method for producing a calcium secondary phosphate anhydride, the phosphoric acid compound and the calcium compound are respectively heated to a temperature not less than 75°C in advance and then subjected to a neutralization reaction in the presence of an alkali, thereby obtaining an aggregated bulk calcium secondary phosphate anhydride particle. |
