<p>A programmable controller wherein the cycle time (scan time) may be adjusted to achieve an optimum value. The controller may operate in two operational modes (RUN,PRG) and a non-operational mode (PRG); changes to the cycle time are prohibited in the first operational mode (RUN) but are allowed in the second operational mode (MON) or in the non-operational mode (PRG).</p> |
