The invention relates to a device (6) for vaporising a fuel, in particular diesel fuel, before feeding the same into an exhaust member included in the exhaust line of a vehicle with a thermal engine, wherein said vaporising device includes, firstly, a vaporisation chamber (7), secondly a heating member (8) for vaporising the fuel and installed inside the vaporisation chamber (7), and thirdly a means (9) for the fuel inlet into the vaporisation chamber (7) and a means (12) for the outlet of vaporised fuel from the vaporisation chamber (7). The device is characterised in that it comprises, inside at least a portion of the vaporisation chamber (7), a means (14) for conducting the heat generated by the heating member (8) in this portion of the vaporisation chamber (7).
