PURPOSE: A ladder manufacturing method is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by automating welding of vertical frames with step bars and to implement various types of ladders. CONSTITUTION: A ladder manufacturing method comprises the steps of: clamping vertical frames(L) and conveying them in the longitudinal direction, pressing a punching blade with a press so as to punch predetermined portions of the vertical frames, clamping and discharging the punched vertical frames using a discharger, connecting step bars(S) to the punched portions of the vertical frames and fixing the vertical frames to a jig, and welding the joints between the step bars and the vertical frames.
