<p>The threaded nut unit (9) for a linear actuator with a rotatable spindle has a main nut installed by its female thread on the male thread of the spindle, and a lock nut which with failure of the main nut engages with the thread of the spindle. The main nut (11) has a first and a second section spaced apart from one another, and each section is provided with a threaded section (18a,18b) of the main nut. The lock nut (12) is provided for installing between the two threaded sections. An independent claim is included for a linear actuator device to execute a translational output movement and which includes a threaded nut and spindle unit.</p> |
