In an endless-belt conveyer for use in vehicle bodies to form a moving floor therefore the belt 1 is secured at intervals along its longitudinal edges to a pair of driving-chains 2 by cleats 5, each of which comprises a U-shaped part 51 to receive the belt edge and an L-shaped part 52 which is so connected with the U-shaped part, e.g. by a pin-and-slot connection 6, 7, as to allow both up-and-down and turning movements of the part 51 with respect to the part 5<2>, the L-shaped part being in turn connected with a bracket 4 on the chain 2 by a similar connection to allow pivoting about a vertical axis and in- and-out movement of the L-shaped part with respect to the bracket 4. |
