PURPOSE: A wireless communication system offering portability of a digital wireless phone and a method thereof are provided to improve portability of a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) phone of a DECT method. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication terminal(100) offers network connection function. The wireless communication terminal performs a calling process for telephone call and user authentication of a handset. A DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) connection device(200) is connected to the wireless communication terminal with a universal interface. The DECT connection device offers wireless connection between a headset and the wireless communication terminal with a digital cordless telephone mode.
